What Can I Do To Help Children in Crisis?
Invite your friends and family to share in the fun and the cause!
While your run fees support direct services to abused and neglected children in Philadelphia, you also can spread the word about Support Center for Child Advocates’ work and help to raise more money through the 2008 5K Run/5K Walk by inviting others to support you!

Ask for Pledges
Set a goal for yourself! Let people know you are raising funds for children’s services. Use the attached pledge form to record pledges that support your run. The more pledges you receive, the more children you can help. As an incentive, prizes will be awarded for every person who raises $250 or more in pledges:

• For $250 - $499 – a long-sleeved race T-shirt
• For $500 - $999 – an iPod Shuffle
• For $1000 and above – a Stereo Bluetooth Headset!

Team Competition
Law firms and companies may enter teams in the 5K Run. For a team application e-mail mjberkowitz@crbcp.com or call Michael Berkowitz at 215-567-2010 (ext. 132). The deadline for team registration is May 9, 2008.

Philadelphia Bar Association/American Cancer Society Biathlon
All registered runners/walkers who complete the Philadelphia Bar Association 5K and who also register and complete the 2008 American Cancer Society Bike-a-thon on July 13, 2008 will receive a medallion at the end of the Bike-a-thon to commemorate their achievement.
