Welcome to the Philadelphia Bar Association 5K Run/ 5K Walk!
This event attracts nearly 1,000 runners and walkers of all ages each year, and is one of the oldest and most respected events of its kind in the City of Philadelphia! The run/walk format provides the opportunity for athletes of all levels to participate in this charity event organized by the Philadelphia Bar Association to spotlight its concern for the children of Philadelphia and to benefit Support Center for Child Advocates.

For the first time, the Philadelphia Bar Association is partnering with the American Cancer Society to create a unique “biathlon event” in conjunction with the 2008 American Cancer Society Bike-a-thon, which will take place on July 13, 2008. The Bike-a-thon attracts nearly 5,000 cyclists who ride 69 miles from the Ben Franklin Bridge in Philadelphia to Buena, New Jersey at the Jersey Shore. Date: Sunday, May 18, 2008
